Minutes
-Call to order: Chairman, Andy Spino called the meeting to
order at 4:00 p.m.
-Roll Call of Board Members and Resort Management: Andy
Spino, Nancy Spino, Charles Albertson, Marilyn Hurst, John Brough, Carol
Miller-Historian, Lorrae Ryf and Josh Jividian.
-Minutes of July 21, 2010 Board meeting approved
Owners meeting
items (board members in attendance included Andy, Nancy, Marilyn, John
Brough, Jerry Spencer, Charlie Albertson):
1. Board
meeting minutes read from July meeting.
2. Weeds
in storage area-discussion took 30 minutes of the meeting
a. Area
needs more weed kill and time allotted for this. Reply: Lorrae OKd this.
b. Is
there a process for acquiring titles? Reply: This will be worked on in
the fall.
c. Can
security make an effort to make sure owner numbers appear on all stored campers
and boats. Also, make sure only owners having items in storage have access to
storage. Reply: Security will make sure there are owner numbers on items
being moved in and out of storage.
d. Send
letter to all permanents & seasonals regarding storage issues. As well as
postings throughout the resort and in the activities brochure.
3. Putt-Putt
needs bumpers. Still an issue. Let’s review and discuss Jerry’s submitted
proposal to see how we can make it work. Quick fix of some sort. Charge small
fee for putt-putt. Reply: Proposal was reviewed. It will be worked on in
phases. Some suggestions for replacing stones were composite or wood decking.
Landscape timbers anchored with stakes for bumpers was suggested. Josh will ask
someone about cementing the bricks as bumpers.
4. Review
and decide on latest applicant for board position. Reply: Members
approved Butch Williams.
5. August
Poker Run is being postponed until participation picks up. Reply: Last
Poker Run is scheduled for 9/11.
6. There
are still about 11 seasonal sites that need meters. Reply: Need to check
on supplies to finish this up.
